Privacy Policy
Effective 22 August 2026 · Last updated 22 August 2026
The short version: StyleCraft Studio does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Our apps have no internet permission, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The documents and photos you handle in our apps never leave your device.

1. Who this policy covers
This policy is issued by StyleCraft Studio ("we", "us",
"our") and applies to this website at stylecraft.app and to
every mobile application we publish, including Printly
(package name com.hueshu.printscan).
If we ever release an app whose data practices differ from what is written here, that app will carry its own policy and we will say so clearly on its product page.
2. Information we collect
We collect nothing. Specifically, we do not collect any of the following, whether directly or through a third party:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact details
- Account credentials — our apps have no sign-up or login
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
- Location data of any precision
- Contacts, calendars, call logs, or messages
- Usage analytics, event telemetry, or crash reports
- The contents of the photos, documents, or files you open in our apps
This is not a promise we ask you to take on trust. Printly is built without
the Android INTERNET permission, which means the operating
system itself prevents it from opening a network connection. An app that
cannot reach the network cannot transmit your data to us or to anyone else.
3. What stays on your device
Our apps do work that produces files, and those files live on your phone under your control:
- Pages you capture. Images from the camera are held in the app's private storage while you are working on a document, and are removed when you delete the document or clear the app's data.
- Files you export. PDFs and images you choose to save go wherever you tell Android to put them — your Downloads folder, your gallery, or a location you pick.
- Your settings. Preferences such as your default colour mode and page size are stored locally on the device.
None of this is visible to us. We have no server that receives it and no mechanism by which we could read it.
4. Permissions we request
Printly asks for the minimum set of permissions needed to function:
- Camera
- Required. Used only to photograph the pages you are scanning, while the capture screen is open. The camera is not accessed at any other time.
- Vibration
- Used for the brief haptic confirmation when a page has been captured. This permission grants no access to data.
- Storage (Android 9 and older only)
- Used to write exported files to your Downloads folder on older Android versions. On Android 10 and newer this permission is neither needed nor requested.
- Internet
- Not requested. The app has no network access at all.
5. Third parties and SDKs
Printly contains no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no crash-reporting services. It is built on Android's own frameworks (Jetpack Compose, CameraX) and the open-source OpenCV image-processing library, all of which run locally on the device and send nothing anywhere.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, because we do not have any personal data to share.
If you install our app from Google Play, Google's own handling of your download and account is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, which is outside our control.
6. Printing and sharing
When you print a document, Printly hands it to Android's built-in print system, which then passes it to the printer or print service you select. When you share a file, Android passes it to the app you choose. In both cases the destination is chosen by you, the transfer is performed by the operating system rather than by us, and the receiving service's own privacy policy applies from that point on.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain no data, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. Data created on your device is removed when you delete it:
- Delete an individual document inside the app to remove its pages.
- Clear all app data at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Printly → Storage → Clear storage.
- Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored privately.
- Files you exported yourself remain where you saved them until you delete them, the same as any other file on your phone.
See the data deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
8. Children's privacy
Our apps are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), because we do not collect personal information at all.
9. Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data a company holds about you, and to object to its sale. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to disclose, correct, export, or erase, and nothing has ever been sold or shared.
You are welcome to write to us to confirm this, and we will respond in writing.
10. Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes how data is handled — for example an optional cloud backup — we will update this policy, change the "last updated" date at the top, and describe the change in plain language before the feature ships. We will never quietly begin collecting data under an old policy.
